My not-a-review of Noble Collection Deathless Replica Sword

Keeping up with the past couple items I’ve covered, I just added my thoughts with lots of photos of the Noble Collection’s Deathless Replica Sword of Thorin Oakenshield.

You can see the item here:

I’m waiting to get the Noble left-hand runic monogram ring of Thorin (we had to send the original gift back, as it was too small for my finger), but I plan on doing one of these for that as well.

It’s now 2015, and vacations and things are starting to wind down. I’m hoping to get back to art and sewing again soon, but figured I would at least take care of some things like this entry first since there are still so many distractions.

It’s always difficult when interruptions to schedules and routines happen. I’m excited to get to work on projects again though, so hopefully I won’t take too long to get into the swing of things!

About Cynthia Griffith

I have way too many interests and hobbies, and continually cycle through them -- paying attention to some, while others wait for when I can get around to them again. My main interests are sewing and costuming (I enjoy historical clothing, such as 18th and 19th century, as well as fantasy costumes like elves and hopefully someday even dwarves), as well as getting back to art by drawing fan art of Thorin Oakenshield and Company. My husband Christopher and I spend a lot of time together, enjoying the outdoors and shared hobbies such as juggling. This blog and website is my way to share what I'm up to with friends and family.

  1. A very good review in the link. Yes, I think it’s very cool — and I’m glad it was such a nice surprise. I like it more than I thought I would, based on people talking about the cast handle and some other things. It’s definitely beefy!

  2. It really was a surprise… I had absolutely no clue something was up. You sneak. 🙂 I’m glad you love it too. It’s a lovely gift for us both!

Great review here! From the pictures it does look like a very interesting piece to own. Guess it’d be a great gift to give a big fan. Thanks for sharing!
